I've read a lot of sci-fi. I'm of Greg Bear's generation.
I think 'Queen on Angels' might be the best sci-fi novel ever written.
I'm fascinated by how 'Quantico' and 'Mariposa' lead into the future expounded upon in QofA and Slant. Is there a chance that other novels might be in the offing that fill in this timeline?

Thanks, Wendell! That universe is extensive enough that further explorations would be fun. The entire sequence, I'm sure you know, is QUANTICO, MARIPOSA, QUEEN OF ANGELS, HEADS, and MOVING MARS. Lots of history to fill in!

Slant is after Maripose, right? Anwyays, I was in a used book store recently, a rare thing as I normally get stuff from the library, and found Queen of Angels (I think my dad has it, but finding it....), so, curious the timing.....

Haven't read HEADS either. I think my dad has, or at least had, that, too. I dare say MOVING MARS may still win out as my favorite, though.

Supplemental: you know, almost nowhere anymore do people write/type novel titles in all capitals, as well as the proper type for stories, etc..... But I remember the emphasis my English teacher put on such things (even though I rarely did the work and all....school, back then, bleh....)

Ah, yes, forgot SLANT! And it comes after QUEEN OF ANGELS and before HEADS.
