I don't suppose you and Vernor Vinge could collaborate on a book? I'd love to see you writing in the Queng Ho universe, or let Vernor loose in the Way or the Triple :-)
It could be dangerous - the sheer density of goodness in said tome would probably form a micro black hole - something that good isn't meant for this universe!

Would you consider inviting others into your worlds? A short story collection written by the likes of Vinge, Ian M Banks, Neal Stephenson et al, how wonderful would that be...

Keep up the fantastic work, please write more books! :-) How is City going, by the way?

That would be fun--but I think both Vernor and I (and Neal and Ian) have enough to keep us busy for the foreseeable future! CITY characters and plotting are proving about as tough to keep track of as EON was, many years ago... but it's coming together, with a very unusual take on cosmology... Right now, I'm studying the formal logic of crocheting instructions, with help from Astrid.
